Want to buy a wind power kit or a solar power cell? Shop wisely.

I am surprised CDR KIng still sells in the industrial products category, their windpower generator system for 100,000.00 pesos! Well I just visited Amazon and the first thing that hit me is the
Sunforce 12 Volts 400 Watts wind power generator! This is useful for windy areas say in a farm in uplands of Negros Occidental where you may be far from the electrical lines.

This lists at $478.55 and when translated to Phil. pesos at 50.00/dollar will set you back for less than
P24,000 pesos! I have bought laptops costing more than this amount and this wind powered wind generator will be a welcome addition to a farm in the Negros highlands(Salvador Benedicto town).
Incidentally, there is also a Sunforce 50044 60Watt solar cell charging system for 284.00 USD which equates to 14,200 pesos.

Buying these products will not automatically qualify you or label you as GREEN or an environmentally conscious customer. You really have to install these products first!Visit Amazon.com where bargains might be had in just one click:)

It is very expensive and it may take more than ten years to recover the costs.
Much better to buy a small gas powered generator.
Only big companies like Google can afford to cover their buildings with photovoltaic cells. Reality beats any green or quixotic dreams of having a model farm.
