Its Feb. 7 and only one vote was cast. Is it back to the freewheeling IP address only?

I am surprised some people have expressed dismay that the poll on presidential candidates is difficult to use after implementing a registered user/IP address to enable more than one person per IP address to vote, and to avoid concerted efforts by web savvy presidential campaign committees to swamp the poll with their enthusiastic supporters.

So starting tomorrow (we will modify it tonight), we will change back to the original system where only the IP address is used to differentiate voters.

On with the mock polling fun tomorrow, MONDAY.

It will not be the fault of this blog if there are presidentiables aware of online polls. Strategy demands alertness at all levels in all media of communications. Therefore it will be BAACK to IP address control only like we did in January!!!
Of course if I have my way, I will design a poll widget accepting email addresses only with the proviso that only those with Filipino heritage can vote.

Inform you candidate’s local campaigners to restart the fun poll for February! :)

Updates: 2:35 pm. Another vote was cast for Noynoy! still using the registered user system. But I already announced that we will be reverting to the old IP address only system starting tomorrow. Hope the campaign managers of all parties give more thought to this online poll.

The online poll does not pretend to be unbiased or scientific. No political party is supporting this online poll. Nor will I accept anything for holding it in our blog.
